Random event

A Random event is when you get a surprise gift from Gaia in the form of either a Pink Link, Giftbox, or Trunk. This happens randomly, and can give you a variety of event-only items, such as the Nitemare Headband, Hockey Mask, or Angelic Chair.
When browsing the site, a picture of whatever suprise you can receive magically has wings and flies around the current page you're on, telling you to click it. At the top, next to your avatar where one would normally find new messages, announcements or notices, you'll see an alert that says "1 New Gift" or something like that. Clicking the box will take you to a page congratulating you, and telling you the item has been placed into your inventory. Upon entering your inventory, you can click the box/trunk to "open" it, which will then replace itself in your inventory with whatever item you receive.
The trunks come in two varities: the Enchanted Wooden Trunk[which contains an uncommon housing item], and the Enchanted Golden trunk[which contains a rare and usually valuable housing item]. Giftboxes also come in two varities, Blue Magical Giftboxes [which contain an uncommon item] and the Pink Magical Giftboxes [which are much more valuable and contain rare items].
Pink Links, which were commonly found in forums, have been discontinued.
