Vanessa is the owner of Salon Durem. She appeared on Gaia- May 20, 2004. She has some sort of relationship with Edmund. After long requests for a contact lenses shop, Vanessa was given the job of changing eyestyle and color, this was announced- Wed Aug 05, 2009.

Eye color: Blue
Skin: Light
Hair: Blonde and purple (likely dyed)
Other: Her original appearance had her in a tight fitting shirt and slim jeans. With her update in 2009, her chest area is now covered up with a purple shirt, and she wears a white coat.

In the Mini Comic Promnomnom, Vanessa told Moira that she had missed a button on her shirt on purpose, upsetting Rina who thought she would be the prettiest at the Gaia Prom until she saw the other women she was competing with.

Return of Gino

Although Vanessa did not appear in this storyline manga, she did phone Liam to ask him out on Saturday night whilst he was already in calls with two other girls, one of which was Moira.

Gino's Recovery

In Vanessa's first manga appearance, she was in Barton Pub with Ian, Sasha, Moira and Liam. They were gossiping about Sasha kissing Gino Gambino, and Moira said that she was seeing someone too. She said she heard Vanessa was seeing someone as well, but neither of them would reveal who it was, not knowing they were both dating Liam.

The Trial of Ian

Vanessa was outside the Durem courthouse with Moira and Sasha when Ian was released free of charge. She had made a bet with Moira that he would be found guilty, and she said that she owed her gold as a result of losing.

We Come In... Piece?

Moira and Vanessa were both angry to see that Sasha had asked Liam to the Halloween 2k6 party. Dragging her into the bathroom of Gambino Mansion, they questioned her choice of date. Both noticing that the other cares about who Liam goes with, they clocked that he was triple-timing them all. They ran to the main hall as a UFO started abducting guests, including Liam. The girls pulled on the tractor beam, causing the UFO to crash. Ignoring the Zurg, they pulled Liam to one side to discuss matters.

Return of 09

During Christmas 2k6, Vanessa, Moira and Sasha were outside Gambino Mansion making their way to Barton Town, discussing Liam. Vanessa said she almost felt bad... almost.

Prom Drama

Vanessa was talking to Moira in Durem Depot about who she would take to the Gaia Prom. Liam came in and asked if they would go with him but they both said no before he could even finish his question. However, Edmund came in, threw a rose at Vanessa's face and simply said 'Prom. Wear something tight.' Vanessa replied with 'Ooh... I wouldn't miss it for the world, sweetie,' and Edmund left again, leaving Moira and Liam shocked. Marie and Anna Corinne Von Helson came in demanding Vanessa and Moira stay away from Liam, calling them tramps, but they laughed at them and said they could have him.

Liam tried to get back into the girls' good books by getting help with wooing women from other men of Gaia, and sent them all letters with the help of Gaians. Liam said that Vanessa was into some crazy stuff, and she was willing to accept his letter as she was feeling light-headed from the hairspray fumes of the Salon. After reading the letter, she liked the kinkiness of it, and was nearly going to accept his offer until she saw he had spelled her name "Vasessena". She told the Gaian helping Liam to go tell him she would tie him in a knot he wouldn't forget, and not in the good way.
