Feature explained[]
This location is a different universe that was first introduced by using the Dark Reflection mirror. This mirror is shaped like a rabbits head. It is tinted purple and rimmed with gold.
The mirror has the ability to reflect the alternate version of an existing person. It also takes the holder to alternate locations.

Description[]
The Dark Reflection is occupied by characters that are counterparts to Gaia characters. Gaians had a chance to meet these characters as they searched for a young female student named Kanoko. But in searching for her, they would be confronted by a Mysterious Man and his pet dabbit, who would usher them out of this universe.
Kanoko ended up in this universe when she was looking for a new job, having quit being a star dressed mascot at the planetarium. As she looked over job flyers, a cart passed by and ended up riding over a rather large rock, the bump caused a mirror (the Dark Reflection) to fall out and land on the ground. Kanoko walked over to pick it up and hand it back to the rider - just as a little rabbit creature was going to retrieve it. But the mirror activated, giving off a glow, and ended up sucking Kanoko and the little creature into it.
After getting out of the mirror, the little creature is seen carrying Kanoko off into the sunset.

Dark Reflection[]
When it came to meeting the Alternate NPCs (referred to as Denizens):
- NPC:Edmund is a small-bodied young man named Ed; who asked Gaians about obtaining authentic ninja stars, so he could equip some to his battle bot.
- NPC:Liam is a woman named Lia. She showed off her dress to Gaians and told them that her boyfriend NPC:Gino Gambino (appearing rather muscular) bought it for her.
- NPC:Rufus the Cat appeared to be human and attempted to give away his pet cat; who is clearly NPC:Ian.
- NPC:Ivan is a carefree man who didn't worry about paying his taxes. He stood along side NPC:Meredith, who is his wife in this universe, and cradled a cat named Bibbles.
- NPC:Moira with a personality change that made her seem more sweet and passive. While NPC:Sasha is more aggressive and dressed in punk rock clothing.
- NPC:Nicolae is a priest named Father Nic. Father Nic didn't know why the children liked him, and thought that the donations he collected for them isn't nearly enough. The children hugging him are the NPC:Orphans from the Christmas 2k7 event: Eustace, Ethel, and NPC:Scuppers.
- NPC:Rina is an older woman, while NPC:Agatha is a young child.

When it came to meeting the Alternate NPCs (referred to as Hazmats and New Waves):
The Hazmats:
- NPC:Hana, a feisty woman. She's a variant based on Professor Hana from Item:Valefor Academy.
- NPC:Peter, the permanent lost boy, Peter Pan. He's a variant based on Peter Pan from Item:Neverland.
- NPC:Butterfly, a gifted clairvoyant and a seer of visions. She's a variant based on Butterfly the actor from Item:Perfect Tragedy.
- NPC:Takkun, a young rebel. He's a variant based on Takkun the love interests from Item:Love Charm.
- NPC:Mizuki, the leader of The Hazmats. She's a variant based on Mizuki the ninja from Item:Eternal Rivals.
The New Waves:
- NPC:Crow, a wise person, who wants to help the future. He's a variant based on Crow the Raven Spirit from Item:Guardian Totem.
- NPC:Aiden, the creative and thoughtful hero. He's a variant based on Aiden from Item:Neon Core.
- NPC:Kaede, a sweet-hearted spirit. She's a variant based on Kaede the ghost from Love Charm.
- NPC:Deinony & Precious the Dinosaur, a lovable woman who makes it a point to take care of those she loves. They are variants based on Deinony & Precious the Dinosaur from Neon Core.

When it came to meeting the Alternate NPCs (referred to as 'old friends'):
- NPC:Bloody Mary is based on the urban legend of Bloody Mary (folklore), but an original character to this CI.

- NPC:Albe, a young lord vampire. He's a genderswap of Lady Alzbeta from the Item:Valefor Academy.
- NPC:Fredrick, a tough bruiser. He's a genderswap of Frederika from Item:Love Charm.
- NPC:Kaeden, a ghostly sensitive musician. He's a genderswap of Kaede from Love Charm I.
- NPC:Corvin -- Nightmare King, a dark sorcerer. He's a genderswap of Queen Corvina from the Item:Forgotten Reverie.
- NPC:Sandman, a being who wants to add eyes to his collection. He's a genderswap of Sandman from Item:Bitter Frost, who despite the male pronoun is female.
M to F: Females
- NPC:Azrael, a fierce beauty. She's a genderswap of Azrael from the Item:Azrael's Trickbox.
- NPC:Friday XIII, a bad lucky woman. She's a genderswap of Friday XIII from Item:Club Limbo.
- NPC:Inside Out Girl, a unique and delicate beauty. She's a genderswap of Cordis the Freak from Item:Cirque du Gothique, who is also called Inside Out Boy.
- NPC:Jaid, a young delinquent. She's a genderswap of Jaiden from Love Charm I.
- NPC:Loyale, a ringermaster that's invisible from head to toe. She's a genderswap of Monsieur Loyal from Cirque du Gothique.
Non-binary
- NPC:Taylor, a punk fighter. Taylor is also from Item:Eternal Rivals, the gender of the character is ambiguous.
Trivia[]
- If a User managed to find Kanoko, they'd receive the Dark Reflection: Kanoko!, this golden mirror contained the prize Kanoko's Dark Reflection, a theme set of clothing and accessories based on Alice from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
