This feature marks the year, month, and date of a registered account. Gaians who have early join dates are called Oldbies and as early registered users they usually know a lot about Gaia Online's development and have knowledge to its early happenings.

There is much controversy with the aspect of Join Dates, sometimes they can be looked upon with admiration or distaste. Oldibes have a certain status of respect while Newbies can be judged harshly; almost a point of being viewed as ignorant about subject involving the site.
