- Although the Ice Gauntlet only counts as one item, its appearance in various poses give it three forms; while down at the side, it appears as a gauntlet, while held up, it becomes a claw, and while held with the hand outstretched, it becomes a sword.
- This is one of the two items linked to the Gaian god Phrigustus; the other being the Whip of Ice.
- Due to its connection with Phrigustus, the Ice Gauntlet is a popular item among members of the Veset Monastery.
