Grammar Nazi
From: The Gaiapedia, the community encyclopedia about Gaia Online
Grammar Nazi is a term used to describe someone who is adamant about the proper use of English grammar. These people have no relation to the Third Reich, but the term "nazi" is used to denote the strict harshness with which they adhere to the proper use of English grammar.
The term probably originated from users who do not use proper grammar and disliked others' "fascist" adherence to it, but the term is now used by "Grammar Nazis" themselves.
