April 29

• Template:Icons has been created, it will be a work in progress over the year.
• Category:Gaia NPC has been created, character pages are now set up to receive updated information.

April 20

• NPC pages will be blanked to make way for an organized layout. The current content will be moved to the Gaiapedia Forums as a copy.

April 7

• Easter images to be uploaded later, currently the page is in WIP status.

• Project
  • Continuing SDPlus trivia, page was created. Occasionally working on Gaia terminology pages. Both of the mentioned are not high priority right now.
  • Renaming all evolving item images from 2011 and to 2007. This will take quite a while, but will be done.

March 29 - 30

• Moved Notice templates to 'notice/', did a slight rewrite.

March 27

• Revise of MC templates by turning them into collapsible tables, these have been added to each MC page based on their year.

• Added preloadable templates for CI, EI, MC

• Completed revise of all Monthly Collectible pages.

• The Gaiapedia is experience spam attacks by IP bots. Notice that the pages you see with usernames are spam articles that will be deleted and blocked by Wikia Staff.

  • SDPlus trivia
  • Rename the monthly collectible images to the new image format. (completed March 12)
  • Work on the Gaia terminology pages. Found in Gaia Online Glossary section, feel free to expand on the pages subject.
  • Work on misc Chance item pages. (completed March 5)
  • Due to the release of Chance items monthly schedule, I will be (likely) stopping the creation of individual image categories based on a CI release, and instead create year categories to sort the images that way. The year the CI was released, is what it's images will go into.

February 27

• Rearranging all the Chance item pages. (completed March 1)

February 20

• Second miscellaneous (tertiary) characters page, List of Gaia NPC from Evolving Items has been created.

February 18

• Missed some maintenance task due to helping out other wikis. Will attempt the task again for February and March. The Chance Item pages are going to be slight revised. So red links and disorganization are going to be noticeable for a while.

January 10

• Site maintenance will be happening throughout the month. A lot of deletions and renames of files and pages, some minor tweaks and new templates.

• Christmas 2011 event page complete, somewhat. Will be working on Event Guide later. edit Event Guide complete.

2011

December 22

• Christmas 2011 event has begun. The information gathered during the event will be offsite for a while so it can be organized fully. Feel free to update the page with event items and the like. And see 'December 14th' news to read on how to title this events images. Also know that zOMG! will have its own set of items, so head over to zOMG! Wiki to help out.

December 18

• Will be making some adjustments to the image policy, mainly title about dates and such. Perhaps to follow Gaia's previous way of numbering uploads by year/month/date rather than month/date/year.

December 16

• Gallery NPC: Christmas 2k11 is up, note that the characters (with the exception of Cresento) are dressed the same as last year, please do not upload duplicates.
• Updated ALL Evolving Items to new format for consistency purposes. Next project will be to rename EI banner and promo images, edit the reports, and correct dates (if need be). A thanks to EI fanthreads and guide creators, I was able to add some more trivia to each page.

December 14

• Category:Images EV Christmas 2k11 created for event images, if uploading tag images as "Xmas2k11_". Event items should be in one image in a row. See File:Xmas2k10 SpiritedSnowflake items.png for example. Notice, eventually example file will be renamed to "Xmas2k10_items_" for sorting purposes"

• Clean up of User and IP talk pages of redlinks. If you were alerted to a message about a change to your talk page, just know that it is simply maintenance. EDIT Dec 16, rewrite and redlink clean up complete, part 1.

• Still testing out NPC page set up. Trying to find a consistency and defined article style before going into overhauling.

• Working a better way to list chance items. Combined attire misc and accessories into one section.

November 28

• There seems to be a technical issue with images and tabviewing. Wiki Staff has been contacted about this, as it appears to be happening on various wikis.

November 18

• Gaiapedia:Page Layout/Characters has been created, along with a layout template.

November 15

• Intro templates for CI's and EI's was created; designed to display the release and removal date by full month name instead of abbreviated. In addition, a Marketplace template was created, designed to allow placing the url number of the item.

November 10

• Due to a cache issue involving a page move incident, it is requested that contributes do not move pages unless the admin is contacted. The pages that can be moved without contact are the Fish drop pages, they should have "Item:" namespace in front of the title and nothing else.
• update It appears the cache error has been corrected. To revise the previous statement; currently the main content pages on the wiki don't need to be renamed on a whim, however, if you have a better title for a page, do discuss before renaming. Pages with namespaces such as NPC, Map, and Item should remain as such, this is to avoid another cache glitch issue.

November 05

• Project 'rename icon file' has begun. The icon names for the Evolving Items will be titled "Ei_icon_", after that, it is a matter of going through the reports to change the file names there as well.

November 04

• Updated NPC:Monia, NPC:Jay, and NPC:Scuppers pages. Since information on them is small, their pages were used as a test layout.

October 31

• Adjustments to the Event Guides will be made over the week, to get some form of consistency.

October 27

• Apologize for not finishing "Pie Hard" event, the event page, guide and images will be updated soon.

October 26

• Aquarium Fish Drops has its own article which links to the Gaia Aquarium category. The individual fish drop pages will be redirected to the "Item:" namespace and all shall be placed under the Aquarium Fish Drops category, the current one has no 's'. This is to get some uniformity when it comes to item categories. Feel free to move these pages to the "Item:" namespace if you want to help out.

• Images for Halloween 2k11 can be found here. Please view image guidelines before uploading.

• The category Defunct Features‎ has been created. It will list features that are no longer presented on Gaia Online.

• First miscellaneous characters page, List of Gaia NPC from Chance Items has been created.
• The 'World of Gaia: Science and Technology' page 'might' be separated into two pages, with a suppressed redirect. This too is Avatar wiki inspired.

October 07

• Creating a list of miscellaneous characters, some may or may not receive individual pages, as it depends on how many appearances and information is given about them.
• See Templates/Infobox. With permission from Avatar wiki the creation of the new infobox templates have been made possible.
• Notice, do no recreate or upload images that have been deleted, instead- just remove the redlinks from the page if you want to edit. This largely has to do with the Evolving item pages that had too many images to keep track of.
