A Gaian is the term used to describe a user of Gaia Online. The requirements to be considered a Gaian include being registered for an account, having some type of Avatar representing the Gaian, and being active on Gaia. It is also considered that a Gaian may wish to have some interest in the events and components of Gaia.

Types of GaianEdit

Gaians are often categorized into groups depending on their actions and characteristics. These can include how their avatar appears, their wealth, or things they say in the towns or the Forums. There are also different terms to describe different types of Gaians such as:
