Looking over edit histories trying to find old uncaught vandalism I noticed an edit difference. And remembered, how long the old founder was actually here. She was here for 3 months, then just disappeared never to be seen again, and she left a mess behind her. We've come a long way, our layout has improved, we've got a little more community interaction, Our articles are improving, we've become known on Gaia, and we've even partnered up with a project of another similar organization(GaiaCast's Plotwiki). Plus our rules are becoming more focused and clear.

Looking over the edit counts using the Edit Counter, I've actually noticed something. Other than only being here for 3 months(Man, time flies, I've been here 5 months and am still thinking it's 3) and leaving the place in a mess, she had left with only 457 edits. If we have 195 valid pages, 2811 actual pages, 307 files, and 6,734 edits then that means that the mass majority of edits done, even back then, Were not done by her, but done by other users. Sorry if it feels intimidating, but I've been here only 5 months working just to clean up mess, and I've made over 2000 edits of good work.

But the question is, do we still consider her that important to us, even though her work barely makes a dent in what's been done by the community and by later founders. She's still listed heavily as the original founder on our listing page on Wikia, and she's listed on our About page, and her userpages arround here and wikipedia even call herself our founder. Even though from what she's done, I could only consider her the proposer of the wiki.

-Well, alot of your edits were bots and standardization. You probably only have x2 as many meaningfull edits as her. :P But I guess you're the leader now.131.7.52.17 16:24, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually... All the bot edits were made by GaiaBot and GaiaBotSys. All the edits from my account have actually been hand done. Some of them are rules fixes, I've upgraded templates and the Wiki is finally gaining order. There was no order when I got here, the templates didn't even match up in how they we're used, they were all just thrown together helter-skelter. Organization is actualy what this wiki needed to become a reliable source. That's what it was missing. Actually, that's why I adopted the wiki. Dantman (Talk) 23:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
